When it has reached the end, the knights and archers (Max of four per knight) to all get on the boat too. Another thing you can do is to send knights to charge in the direction the boat is heading. Do the same for any archers that run to get on as well. As the builders are pushing the boat to the end of the island, drop some coins to fill their inventory. It's not always best to leave as soon as the boat is ready. Sometimes you will come across a treasure chest that will help kickstart your kingdom. Before you have your farms, gold can be hard to come by. In addition, when you are building the wall, you will need time to strengthen the wall to an acceptable level to hold back the hordes of foes. Your workers are stubborn and will sometimes try to finish the job you ordered, even through the night. When expanding, make sure you start early in the day. Expanding you kingdom is an important part of the game. So be smart about where you expand your kingdom. The camps will not return and so far are the only means of growing your population. When you come across a camp, knocking down the trees directly to the left or right of the camps will ultimately destroy them. There is only one way to grow your population, and that is to give coins to lost souls in the forests. Building these archer towers with the intention of expanding your land soon turns the tactical watchmen in to useless watchmen when your men are off fighting elsewhere. The down side is they love the posts you build them so much that you can never send them along once you begin to expand east and west. Building archer towers on top of the boulders are nice because they give your archers an easy sight over your walls. Tip 2: You still don't need to build everything, even when you have the cash. Best way to fix that aim? Turn that single shot into a raining shower of arrows by collecting dozens of archers behind your walls. When starting out, having a few archers on each wall beats having a dozen workers (because you will soon find out that your followers all have really bad aim). Early on, gold coins are precious and you will need to find a balance from building new walls and farms, to finding lost souls in the woods. It's easy to accidentally do that by cutting down trees that are located along the edges of a camp, so make sure you leave those standing or you'll lose camps and the potential population growth they would have enabled.Tip 1: Don't build everything as soon as you have the chance to do so. Also, make sure that you don't destroy camps. If you want a larger population in your kingdom, you'll need to find lost souls int he forest and give them coins. You should look for treasure chests to the east and west of your base of operations, and a single chest can go a long way toward funding your growth so that you can become more powerful and fend off nasty foes. When you explore, you can find great treasure. And when you build a wall, you'll also need to spend time strengthening it once it has been constructed, which is difficult if you put that construction off until later in the day. Otherwise, if you start a task late in the day, your people might keep working on it well into the dangerous night. Start as a day begins, and assign your tough jobs at that time. Your expansion needs to come in small spurts. Don't necessarily build towers for your archers, though, because then they won't want to go anywhere else. A single archer won't do you much good, since shots often miss, so try to gather many archers and let their combined might turn adversaries into pincushions. Make sure that you prioritize for walls and archers. If you do that, though, you won't be ready for the impending enemy invasion. When you first start playing, it can be tempting to spend your gold as fast as you can earn it, investing in workers and other such things.
